DBT Coaching
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) combines CBT with mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies to help individuals cope with emotional dysregulation, interpersonal issues, and self depricating behaviors. DBT focuses on teaching four main skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through talk therapy and skills training, individuals learn to recognize and accept their emotions, develop skills to manage emotional dysregulation, and improve their relationships with others. DBT has been shown to be effective in reducing self-harm, depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder symptoms, and can be a valuable tool for anyone struggling with emotional difficulties.
EMDR
The transformative power of EMDR lies in its ability to help individuals heal from deep emotional wounds and move towards a more positive and resilient state of being. It is a safe and effective therapy that has been shown to produce lasting results in individuals with Trauma, OCD, etc.
Through the gentle yet powerful techniques of EMDR, clients can unlock the potential for healing and growth that resides within them, freeing themselves from the grip of past experiences and paving the way for a brighter, more fulfilling future.
“Mindfulness not only makes it possible to survey our internal landscape with compassion and curiosity but can also actively steer us in the right direction for self-care.”— Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk (author of The Body Keeps the Score)
